Maggie.care is a space for anyone who wants to learn more about women, their health, and especially sexuality and reproductive health. It is not a space only for women, but one where women’s health comes first. As a historically underestimated, understudied, and neglected field, women’s health deserves more space, time, and attention. That is our goal, and we hope you’ll enjoy taking this journey with us.

My journey with Women Health

Bachelor & Master in Psychology

For five years, I had the privilege of studying one of the most fascinating subjects in the world: the psyche. I attended countless lectures and workshops, read extensively, and worked in different university labs,always driven by the same question: why are we the way we are? I soon realized there is no single answer. Rather than discouraging me, this realization became the core of my motivation. It shaped my commitment to keep studying, researching, and contributing to the growth of knowledge in psychology.

Women's Clinic

Working as a psychology assistant in a women’s clinic has been one of the most inspiring and powerful experiences of my life.
During this internship, I worked with pregnant women, new mothers, toddlers, and teenagers, supporting them through different stages of life and development. In that experience, I understood what I want to dedicate my life to.

Research

Driven by curiosity and passion, I chose to begin my career as a researcher, first at the University of Bergamo and later during a research period in Germany at Ludwig Maximilian University. During these years, I contributed to a range of projects spanning mental health, trauma, gender inequalities, values, and human cognition, among others. This period of my life helped me develop a strong methodological approach and the ability to navigate scientific research with rigor and independence.

Maggie.care is the result of years of study and experience across psychology and research. It is a space where science becomes more accessible, and where personal experiences are welcomed, listened to, and taken seriously. Maggie.care aims to grow into a community and a safe place for exploring our bodies, our sexuality, and the many layers of what it means to be a woman.
